The 8 golden rules

Run each quest once per life, on the highest difficulty you can handle. Each repeat costs -20% XP (§2.1) W-XP.
Do not over-level. Stay within 2 levels of the quest in Heroic, and within 4 in Epic and Legendary (§2.3) W-XP.
At level 30+, only Legendary quests give XP. Heroic and Epic quests give 0 (§7) wiki, not cross-checked W-XP W-LL R220.
Not all boosts stack. One equipped XP item and one elixir count (§2.5) R179 R186.
Bank your levels. Keep your Heroic sagas unturned only if a Lesser or Epic Reincarnation follows. Before a True or Racial Reincarnation, turn them in (§6.2) W-SG.
Drink an XP elixir before the big saga turn-ins. Elixirs apply to the saga reward wiki, not cross-checked R217.
Do the Legendary quests on Reaper before you True Reincarnate. The first Reaper run gives +200% Reaper XP, and a True Reincarnation resets it wiki, not cross-checked W-RD R220 AX (§8.1).
Do not True Reincarnate from the cap before the life's Legendary quests are done.
